Stressed Out Americans Just Broke The Psychologists’ Stress Record

An annual “Stress in America” survey has hit an all-time high.The American Psychological Association’s anxiety meter found that 57% of Americans were stressed in January. That’s the highest since the survey started in 2007. A full two-thirds of respondents to the survey said they are stressed out about the nation’s future including 76% of Democrats and 59% of Republicans. Millennials and those who live in the cities are doing significantly worse than their suburban and rural counterparts.
