Maroon 5 released the official music video for “All Night,” starring frontman Adam Levine’s wife Behati Prinsloo in the role of the band’s “new lead singer.”
In a social media post, the band said the video, directed by Aerin Moreno, was inspired by Robert Palmer’s 1989 “Simply Irresistible” video. In that video, the singer stood in a black suit, singing in front of a group of expressionless women dressed in brightly colored minidresses. Levine told “Entertainment Tonight” — “Robert Palmer had this iconic video, but he was in front and he had these beautiful women in the back. Instead, we’re having B [Behati] in front. She’s the beautiful woman, and all of us less attractive guys in the back.”
“All Night” is part of Maroon 5’s new album “Love is Like;” the band will also kick off a 23-city tour in Phoenix on October 6.
