Google has joined forces with Levi’s to create a futuristic jacket that’s designed to keep you warm and work as an extension of your phone. The interactive trucker jacket uses high-tech conductive fabric to connect to a smartphone. Users can pause or skip a song with the brush of a sleeve. They can also use Google maps without the hassle of getting a phone out. The smart jacket looks just like a normal jacket but it contains tiny wires that can send and receive signals. Button-sized computers also allow it to communicate with a mobile phone and other devices. This connected denim jacket will cost around $350 when it goes on sale this fall. The companies say it is designed for people who are on the move and don’t have time to stop and check their phone or watch all the time.
